My mom had constantly wanted to go to Jacksonville to visit my daughter, however my buddy and I drove down over the Summer and spent a couple of weeks there.

Mom wasn’t prepared for the Summer heat of Jacksonville, FL, then the first evening my buddy and I got there, my granddaughters were in the pool, and it was 3AM.

Mom was distraught the kids weren’t in bed, and more distraught they were allowed to swim in the dark. My child assured her it was hot enough, and they had enough light to light up the entire deck, it was still eighty degrees out, and I was trying to get mom inside so she could lay down in the a/c. I had been to Jacksonville several times, however never to their modern home. My child was distraught to show it off, and wanted to take mom and I sightseeing later that afternoon. The ladies were already in the pool, and mom was ready to go to the mall. My buddy and I walked around the mall where there was a lot of a/c, however mom almost fainted when my buddy and I got back outside. The heat was so unbearable I had to take her back inside while my child brought the car around. My mom had once said she wouldn’t transfer to FL, and even though my child now lived in Jacksonville, she had changed her mind! She liked it back home more than she liked Jacksonville. The a/c in their household was so poor, that even with the temperature set at sixty-eight, there was no way mom could be comfortable. I knew it was the wrong thing to bring her to Jacksonville, FL in the summer, when mom was ninety.

When my hubby told me he was going to take me to all the brewing companies plus wineries that Lee’s Summit had to offer, but he said the amount of a/c they had in the breweries plus wineries, more than made up for drinking alcoholic drinks; The beers were all identifiable , plus the wines were flavorful… If you mixed that with the excellent food they gave, you had a perfect day, but when his friends met up with us, my friend and I had already been to the Diametric Brewing Company, plus we’re heading over to Fringe Beerworks. I was cheerful I hadn’t had supper that day. I made sure to only drink half the budweiser in the flight at Fringe Beerworks, plus I only had a bite of a burger. When they said it was time to leave plus go to Smoke Brewing Company, I wanted to beg my hubby to take me back to the hotel. I had too much to drink, plus my stomach was painful. It hit me that the main reason my friend and I came to Lee’s Summit, MO for the weekend was so he plus his friends could go brewery hopping. Instead of going back to the hotel, I assigned myself to be the designated driver, then everyone in our group appreciated it, plus I got free Pepsi plus food wherever my friend and I went.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do when my fiance told me he wanted to go to Birmingham for Christmas… I knew he grew up in AL, as well as I also knew he missed his friends. My sibling thought the temperatures were perfect, but hours later, my associate and I were coming out of the Wabasha Street Caves, plus the heat of the afternoon hit us like a bulldozer. My pal and I weren’t prepared for the sun or the heat. My pal and I ran to our hotel plus set the temperature control low so my associate and I would have nice cooling system. It was only 7PM, however my associate and I were ready to call it quits for the afternoon. My pal and I ordered a pizza to be sent to the room, plus relaxed in the cooling system for the rest of the night. I’m not sure if we’ll return to the Wabasha Street Caves again, because it’s like once you’ve seen them, that’s enough, then there are other things I like to do doing in Minneapolis, plus then there is the Mall of America. The Mall of America is something my associate and I can do regardless if it is sun plus the nineties, or winter season plus in the teens.
