My husband insisted our first Christmas together should be spent with his parents at their condo in Lee’s Summit, MO, however i lived in the south, and all I could know about was how chilly it was going to be over Christmas.

• He tried to tell me the weather in Lee’s Summit was constantly comfortable, although I didn’t feel him, when I didn’t fall for that, he told me his parents had excellent Heating, Ventilation plus A/C in their house.

If my cute, little nose got too cold, my associate and I could go back to the condo and get hot chocolate and snuggle by the fireplace. I liked that thought although I was also ready to see where he grew up… My associate and I spent the first two afternoons snuggled in front of the fireplace while listening to his mom tell me about my husband’s escapades as a little kid, and showing me adorable pictures of him with a mohawk, a bald stage, and without any front teeth. I also got to see pictures of him and his sister opening their Christmas gifts, and one of him snuggling with his current puppy when he was six, then that night, they all got together, and my associate and I headed to Lee’s Summit Christmas in the Park. It was amazing to drive the gaily lit park, and imagine I was in a unusual era. I felt like I was in a scene from a Christmas card. I didn’t realize there could be such a locale anymore, and being in the vehicle made it doubly good. My associate and I had the heat of the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C to keep us warm. I had never had a Christmas like this and asked if my associate and I could do Christmas with his family every year.

Jacksonville, FL is one of the nicer arenas I have visited in Florida! I enjoyed the scenery plus all there is to see… The only thing I don’t like about Jacksonville, is that it gets so hot I can’t breathe.

I wanted to spend more time with my daughter, however he regularly wanted to go out to the sidewalk sales, walking tours, parks, plus beach.

I number one to be in the house with the a/c. The last time I was in Jacksonville, I took my granddaughters with me. They went to one of the several water parks in the area, plus they all came back sunburned. They ended up sitting in the house with blisters plus the a/c blowing on them. I was ready to go out plus do something, so my daughter-in-law picked me up plus took me to an indoor theater. I was shocked when I realized it was a drag queen show, however my buddy and I had a lot of fun. They had the best burgers you could imagine, plus even with a packed crowd, it was so cool inside that I had to put a sweater on. I remembered visiting the previous year when it was closer to winter. I was on the beach in my shorts plus tank top, while some of the locals had parkas on. I was laughing at them for being frosty when it was sixty-five outside, however my child said they thought I was peculiar for not being cold. I guess it’s all in how my buddy and I are brought up plus what kind of weather my buddy and I were used to.

My mom had always wanted to go to Jacksonville to visit my daughter, however my buddy and I drove down over the summer time in addition to spent a couple of weeks there.

Mom wasn’t prepared for the summer time heat of Jacksonville, FL, and the first evening we got there, my granddaughters were in the pool, in addition to it was 3AM. The heat was so unbearable I had to take his back inside while my boy brought the automobile around. My mom had once said he would not move to Florida, in addition to even though my boy now lived in Jacksonville, he had changed his mind, but he liked it back home more than he liked Jacksonville. The air conditioning in their home was so poor, that even with the temperature set at sixty-eight, there was no way mom could be comfortable. I knew it was the wrong thing to bring his to Jacksonville, FL in the summer, when mom was ninety.

When my hubby told me he was going to take me to all the brewing companies and wineries that Lee’s Summit had to offer, but he said the amount of a/c they had in the breweries and wineries, more than made up for drinking alcoholic drinks, and the beers were all certain , and the wines were flavorful. If you mixed that with the excellent food they provided, you had a perfect morning! When his friends met up with us, my buddy and I had already been to the Diametric Brewing Company, and we are heading over to Fringe Beerworks. I was cheerful I hadn’t had dinner that morning. I had already eaten and had a flight of beer at Diametric Brewing Company, and now my buddy and I were going to Fringe Beerworks, and my hubby’s neighbor brought his partner, but she loved the breweries and wineries of Lee’s Summit as much as the men. I made sure to only drink half the beer in the flight at Fringe Beerworks, and I only had a bite of a burger. When they said it was time to leave and go to Smoke Brewing Company, I wanted to beg my hubby to take me back to the hotel. I had too much to drink, and my stomach was painful. It hit me that the main reason my buddy and I came to Lee’s Summit, MO for the weekend was so he and his friends could go brewery hopping. Instead of going back to the hotel, I assigned myself to be the designated driver, however everyone in our group appreciated it, and I got free tea and food wherever my buddy and I went.
