If you happen to be in Elgin, IL during the late fall around Halloween time, you may want to take in some of the evening time tours Elgin has to offer, they have a couple of frightening haunted houses you can walk through, and even a couple of ghost tours that I have found to be a drag, however i had yet to see a ghost or even a hint of a ghost; My favorite place to visit during the Halloween season is Evil Intentions Haunted House.

The first time I went there, I didn’t know it was going to be a crucial deal.

The only thing they harped on was that it was in an abandoned casket factory, but caskets aren’t entirely frightening unless they have dead bodies in them. I don’t know if the heating wasn’t certainly nice that evening, or if it was because it was a sizzling evening, however it felt like the air conditioning was on. There was a freezing breeze blowing through the haunted house. I was ready to turn around and leave, however my friends called me a chicken! Along with the haunted house, they gave Ghost Tours, an Escape Room, and an Escape the Night Challenge, which I assumed was a zombie thing. As much as I know zombies aren’t real, I still didn’t want to encounter one in the middle of the evening. I was shivering, however I didn’t know if it was from the cold, air conditioning, or lack of heating. My friends thought I was going shocky because of being frightened, and maybe they were right, however I was ready to get out of the haunted home and go home.

When mom plus I were going to see my sibling, she had her own agenda, however we came to Elgin, IL because my sibling had just had her baby, then it was mom’s first grandchild, plus she told me she wanted to help my sibling for her first two weeks at home.

I was off school until the end of October, plus somehow mom was able to cajole me into driving her to Elgin plus spending two weeks there with her.

I wasn’t glad with driving almost a thousand miles, or spending two weeks with my sibling. Even though I was graduating school in the Spring, she still treated me like her little sibling… My mom was learning some papers she had printed off the internet. She told me that while my buddy and I were there, she wanted to go to the Grand Victoria Casino on the Fox River. It was summer, plus a tepid one that year. My sibling told me the day her child was born, it was 101 degrees. I could not imagine being on a river boat when it was almost 100 degrees outside. Mom told me the Grand Victoria Casino had excellent a/c, plus it boasted various great restaurants plus drink stands. In her way, she was telling me wouldn’t be in the casino the entire day. I was wondering how mom was going to get out of staying with my sibling for the entire two weeks, but she did. She told her her a/c was working too well, plus she needed to go out plus buy a sweater. My sibling told her to have fun at the casino, plus reminded us it was docked, so not to worry about getting seasick.
