For over a decade the sleepy desert neighborhood of Albuquerque has been house to one of the greatest franchises in cable history! The shows were called Breaking Bad plus Better Call Saul, with a few web-series plus a Netflix movie thrown in along the way.
This place was chosen because of its natural beauty, its relaxed tax laws for shooting cable plus movies, plus in general because it’s a cool place to live.
I ran tests on the crew of both of these shows, plus so I was in Albuquerque for a long time; After the ninth year, when I knew this was going to last for a while, I decided to transport to Albuquerque plus live there permanently. I loved my task, although I also loved a lot of other things about this town. Take the local cannabis, for example. I don’t know how they grow such amazing cannabis plants in a place like Albuquerque, however this stuff is on the next level! Those shows are long gone at this point, although I remain in Albuquerque. I took my interest in local cannabis to the head of the greatest local growing operation. I explained that I feel a documentary about a toiling Albuquerque cannabis farm would make for a neat documentary, and he didn’t agree with me, plus explained that the cannabis industry in the Albuquerque section was highly competitive, plus he didn’t want his enemies learning about his operation. Instead he asked me to movie a series of cable commercials for his cannabis brand, to air on local Albuquerque television.
