My fiance and I used to go overseas once a year for a big trip, but then we had our son, but our boy doesn’t travel well, and so we are now restricted to only going locales we can drive.
My friend and I also can’t drive our child far or he gets really frustrated, and recently I started hunting around the state of FL trying to find a great trip endpoint. This is how I landed in St, petersburg, FL. There is so much to do in St. Petes! You can go to the beach, go shopping, hockey, or just hang out at the hotel. Our child is only one year outdated right now. So that means I just needed to find a swanky hotel right on the beach. My friend and I were walking distance to the sand, however i took my child to the beach everyday. I would occasion him up and walk him to the ocean. My friend and I then would crawl and toddle around in the wet sand! Later we would hit the pool. Sometimes if we were really silly the three of us would walk around St. Petersburg, my child in the saunterer of course. I am really cheerful we did that trip. It was a big success. The weather was perfect too. I stressed us to go right in the Spring. The Spring weather is ideal for St. Petersburg. I didn’t want my child to be in trouble from a sunburn however I did not want cold weather. My friend and I also were out of peak season and got our hotel for a nice rate.
