Hybrid system is best for Missouri weather

It keeps the house nice and toasty without me lifting a finger

Springfield, Missouri deals with all four seasons. There is a very long, brutal winter season followed by a brief, rainy spring. Then we get a nice warm summer season for around three months. Finally, the fall weather hits. Since we experience both highs and lows of the local weather, a quality HVAC system is a must have. I simply couldn’t get by with just a heater or a single air conditioner. Since I require both, I have invested in a hybrid system. This combines a heat pump system and a gas furnace. For most of the year I utilize the heat pump which is very energy smart. The heat pump provides air conditioning at an effective rate. It simply pumps the heat energy outdoors. For the heating effect, that heat energy is pumped inside. The air is from the outside so it is cleaner and fresh. There is no burning of fossil fuels. It is a green system that doesn’t release emissions. It also is very effective in how it works and quickly lowers the energy bills. The only snag is that this system can’t effectively heat if the temperatures drop below forty degrees. Since a winter season in Missouri certainly does at night, that is why I have the gas furnace paired with it. The system automatically changes from electric to gas based on the temperature. It keeps the house nice and toasty without me lifting a finger. I mostly experience energy efficient settings, just on colder days the gas portion fires on and keeps my family warm. It is a perfect device for Springfield living.
