My husband’s father lives in Fort Myers Florida, but he has his own little household that is all around other people who have retired.
Him and his wifey are regularly going out with people and playing bridge and other boring things, and my husband is not entirely close with his dad, i feel the guy is a complete jerk and would like to limit our interactions.
The disadvantage is that we live in Lakeland Florida… While it is a drive between our places, it is doable. My pal and I also live near two airports if we want to fly over there quickly, but so because of our close position, it is regularly brought up that we should visit. His father is never willing to come to us. My pal and I alway have to go to him. There is nothing to do in Fort Myers, then everything is bland, boring and geared towards an older crowd. The household is nice however the supplier is absolutely lacking. In Lakeland we have the benefit of gorgeous sights, wildflie, and pretty plants. My pal and I also have tons of shops, diners, and interest centers. Why would not they want to come to us? Also Fort Myers is so far south. It is scorchingly hot there. Why wouldn’t they want a mold milder form of the Florida heat? It makes no sense to me. I frequently refuse to travel there with my husband. I get so bored and I don’t like his father. I would not mind hosting however making the trek more than once a year is a immense no for me.
