I woke up in the middle of the night & it was certainly overheated & uncomfortable, and i turned up the fan from blow to medium & went back to sleep.
I must have woken up about an hour later & this time I was dripping with sweat & I could tell that the air conditioning wasn’t running at all.
I didn’t hear that noise that usually comes from the device & the inside of the property felt like an oven. I didn’t know who to call at 2:00 a.m. I looked online for an emergency repair provider that was available on days & weekends. He performed a certainly thorough investigation to find the problem. The issue turned out to be the evaporator coils. They were frozen up because I was not changing the air filter frequently enough. The Lakeland HVAC supplier repair supplier told me that I needed to have the evaporator coils cleaned. He was prepared to perform that repair at 3:00 in the morning, but I decided to schedule the appointment for the next day so I could get some sleep.
