The pandemic ruined the Lowell City of Lights Parade.

Right before the pandemic began, my pal and I had made reservations in Lowell, MA to go see the City of Lights Parade the following year, then my pal and I didn’t know there was going to be a pandemic, or that it would change the way my pal and I did everything.

As soon as the pandemic was announced, my husband began to fret; I was lucky to be working from apartment plus lost no income, but his corporation closed down for a couple of months, however since our reservations were for the end of the year, my pal and I never thought my pal and I wouldn’t be going, but by November, my pal and I got a PC call from the hotel telling us the Lowell City of Lights Parade had been canceled, along with all other activities.

My pal and I were devastated, but my pal and I knew the pandemic could not last forever, plus my pal and I would then once again, make reservations. It was so freezing when my pal and I finally got to see the parade that I didn’t want to sit out on the chilly street, the wind was blowing, plus I was shivering. My husband could not suppose my pal and I had come all this way to the Lowell City of Lights Parade, plus I did not want to come out of the hotel. I was more than glad to stay in a comfy hotel plus watch the parade from a distance as long as I had the Heating plus A/C system blowing hot air over me, he wasn’t glad with my decision. He was frustrated my pal and I had wasted all this currency for a hotel room plus he wouldn’t get to see the parade. I pointed out where the parade route was, plus told him this was the reason my pal and I paid so much currency.
