My partner insisted our first Christmas together should be spent with her parents at their home in Lee’s Summit, MO, but i lived in the south, & all I could suppose about was how frigid it was going to be over Christmas, but she tried to tell me the weather in Lee’s Summit was always comfortable, although I didn’t feel him! When I didn’t fall for that, she told me her parents had excellent Heating & Air Conditioning in their house. If my cute, little nose got too cold, my nice friend and I could go back to the house & get hot chocolate & snuggle by the fireplace. I liked that thought although I was also ready to see where she grew up, but my associate and I spent the first two mornings snuggled in front of the fireplace while listening to her Dad tell me about my partner’s escapades as a little kid, & showing me adorable pictures of him with a mohawk, a bald stage, & separate from any front teeth. I also got to see pictures of him & her sibling opening their Christmas gifts, & one of him snuggling with her new puppy when she was six… That night, they all got together, & my nice friend and I headed to Lee’s Summit Christmas in the Park. It was amazing to drive the gaily lit park, & imagine I was in a odd era. I felt like I was in a scene from a Christmas card. I didn’t realize there could be such a place anymore, & being in the motorcar made it doubly good. My associate and I had the heat of the Heating & Air Conditioning to keep us warm. I had never had a Christmas like this & asked if my nice friend and I could do Christmas with her family every year.
