My hubby insisted our first Christmas together should be spent with his parents at their property in Lee’s Summit, MO; I lived in the south, plus all I could believe about was how chilly it was going to be over Christmas, however he tried to tell me the weather in Lee’s Summit was regularly comfortable, but I didn’t believe him, but when I didn’t fall for that, he told me his parents had excellent HVAC in their house.
If my cute, little nose got too cold, my friend and I could go back to the house plus get hot chocolate plus snuggle by the fireplace.
I liked that thought but I was also ready to see where he grew up! My pal and I spent the first two days snuggled in front of the fireplace while listening to his mom tell me about my hubby’s escapades as a little kid, plus showing me adorable pictures of him with a mohawk, a bald stage, plus without any front teeth. I also got to see pictures of him plus his brother opening their Christmas gifts, plus one of him snuggling with his current puppy when he was six! That night, they all got together, plus my friend and I headed to Lee’s Summit Christmas in the Park. It was amazing to drive the gaily lit park, plus imagine I was in a strange era. I felt like I was in a scene from a Christmas card. I didn’t realize there could be such a venue anymore, plus being in the automobile made it doubly good. My pal and I had the heat of the HVAC to keep us warm. I had never had a Christmas like this plus asked if my friend and I could do Christmas with his family every year.
