I didn’t sleep very well on Thursday night and that problem was due to the AC unit in my home.
For the past couple of weeks, the AC unit has not been working very well.
Sometimes it feels like warm air is coming out of the machine and other times it seems like the air conditioner is working just fine. On Thursday night I tossed and turned. Sometime around 5:00 in the morning, I woke up to use the bathroom. There is an air conditioner vent in the bathroom and it was directly above my head. I could feel warm air coming from the machine. I checked the thermostat in the hallway and the indoor temperature was 75°. I decided to turn off the thermostat and shut off the air conditioner. It was cooler outside, so I opened up the windows. As soon as it was 7:00 in the morning, I called the South Bend, Indiana AC repair service. I lived on the street from the South Bend AC repair service and I have used them in the past for problems with the furnace. This time it was an issue with the AC and there was no way to fix the problem. The South Bend, Indiana repair service professional recommended I replace the machine. The guy gave me a list of the options that were available and a pamphlet on each one of the energy efficient machines. I selected from a list and called the finance company to see if I could get approval. Thankfully I qualified for a low interest rate, so I could have that new AC unit installed.
