I was fortunate to grow up on the Oregon coast, just 2 minutes away from Portland; To say I had an idyllic childhood would be accurate.
This was a neighborhood so small plus remote that people never locked their doors, because there was no crime, but my family knew all of our neighbors, there were no strangers, however and the landscapes? The deep forests plus open coastline of Oregon is hour to none, 1 of the prettiest sights you will ever see; Now that I’m a bit older, I’m ecstatic I live this close to Portland.
I like the small neighborhood life, however sometimes I need a bit of culture plus excitement, like can only find in Portland. First of all, I guess Portland to be the cultural Mecca of Oregon, the neighborhood that has the best museums, art galleries, plus musical sites. Oregon has some other good cities, of course, however none of them have the depth plus history of Portland. Another reason I like coming to Portland is for the dazzling array of cannabis dispensaries they have to offer. I have a cannabis dispensary near my house, however the stuff it carries is weak plus dry compared to the buds I get in Portland. There are numerous cannabis farms in the Portland area, so the weed here typically seems so fresh plus fluffy. I have often debated if I should transfer to Portland, however that seems like a lot of trouble. As much as I like visiting Portland, I like having a home of my own that overlooks the ocean.
