About 5 years ago, I had to transport to Evansville as section of a promotion that I acquired from my task! At the time, I knew nothing of the city, & I wasn’t sure what I was getting into, but in fact, the only thing that I knew about the neighborhood was that it was nestled on the banks of the OH River! So naturally, I did some research to see what Evansville had to offer & I was pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was rich in so much history! Prior to moving, I decided to spend some time in Evansville to get to guess the city. I did all the touristy stuff like visiting Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden, the museums & I hung out at the bars downtown. I fell in love with the neighborhood & that trip was perfect with 1 exception. The home that I rented had 1 issue, there was really little a/c. I visited during the Summer months & I was expecting the weather to be a bit milder, so when the temperature was between 93 & 95 degrees, it caught me off guard, however well, I am ok with the weather being hot, however unfortunately, the location that I rented did not have central a/c. In fact, the home had 3 window a/cs installed… One in the general living space & the other 2 inside the windows of the bedrooms. The second bedroom came with a ceiling fan; Needless to say, the rest of the home was quite sizzling with no a/c. That was a reading experience for me, so I made sure that the location I rented when I moved had central a/c installed.
