About 5 years ago, I had to transport to Evansville as area of a promotion that I acquired from my job, and at the time, I knew nothing of the city, and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into! In fact, the only thing that I knew about the city was that it was nestled on the banks of the Ohio River, and so naturally, I did some research to see what Evansville had to offer and I was pleasantly surprised that the city was rich in so much history… Prior to moving, I decided to spend some time in Evansville to get to guess the city.
I did all the touristy stuff appreciate visiting Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden, the museums and I hung out at the bars downtown.
I fell in love with the city and that trip was perfect with one exception, then the beach house that I rented had one issue, there was entirely little air conditioner. I visited while I was in the Summer weeks and I was expecting the weather to be a bit milder, so when the temperature was between 93 and 95 degrees, it caught myself and others off guard, then well, I am ok with the weather being hot, but unluckyly, the locale that I rented did not have central air conditioner. In fact, the beach house had 3 window air conditioner units installed… One in the general living space and the other 2 inside the windows of the dining rooms. The second dining room came with a ceiling fan, however needless to say, the rest of the beach house was quite sizzling with no air conditioner. That was a reading experience for me, so I made sure that the locale I rented when I moved had central air conditioner installed.
