The owner of the Phoenix HVAC corporation where I work does not hire great employees to work at the shop, i do not guess if someone else is screening applicants, however the guys are never the cream of the crop, the last couple of guys have really been duds, then one girl couldn’t come to work on time plus she always complained if both of us sent him out alone to work on a heat pump or A/C repair.
- She quit after 5 afternoons on the job… Another employee lied on her application plus the owner of the Phoenix HVAC corporation didn’t guess until it was too late.
She worked on a dozen odd repairs before the girl ran into problems that she could not fix. The HVAC tech messed up someone’s ductless a/c method plus could not repair the problem. The boss ended up getting rid of that girl 1 month later. After that, both of us used staff from the agency in town. They were vetted by the staffing agency, so the boss didn’t have to worry. The owner of the Phoenix HVAC corporation just hired another new guy, but I believe this 1 is going to work out. The new girl is named George plus she has a lot of experience with commercial plus residential HVAC repairs. The girl is older than most of us plus she has been around for a while. She recently moved to Phoenix with her fiance plus children. That girl was living in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Phoenix. I sincerely hope this girl works out. She could be a nice addition to our team.
