Vacation during the spring was perfect

I live in Jacksonville, Florida.

My husband and I used to go overseas once a year for a big vacation.

Then we had our son. Our boy doesn’t travel well. So we are now restricted to only going places we can drive. We also can’t drive our son far or he gets really upset. Recently I started hunting around the state of Florida trying to find a good vacation destination. This is how I landed in St. Petersburg, FL. There is so much to do in St. Petes. You can go to the beach, go shopping, golf, or just hang out at the hotel. Our son is only one year old right now. So that means I just needed to find a swanky hotel right on the beach. We were walking distance to the sand. I took my son to the beach everyday. I would pick him up and walk him to the ocean. We then would crawl and toddle around in the wet sand. Later we would hit the pool. Sometimes if we were really crazy the three of us would walk around St. Petersburg, my son in the stroller of course. I am really glad we did that trip. It was a huge success. The weather was perfect too. I scheduled us to go right in the spring. The spring weather is ideal for St. Petersburg. I didn’t want my son to be in trouble from a sunburn but I didn’t want cold weather. We also were out of peak season and got our hotel for a nice rate.

Hybrid system is best for Missouri weather

It keeps the house nice and toasty without me lifting a finger

Springfield, Missouri deals with all four seasons. There is a very long, brutal winter season followed by a brief, rainy spring. Then we get a nice warm summer season for around three months. Finally, the fall weather hits. Since we experience both highs and lows of the local weather, a quality HVAC system is a must have. I simply couldn’t get by with just a heater or a single air conditioner. Since I require both, I have invested in a hybrid system. This combines a heat pump system and a gas furnace. For most of the year I utilize the heat pump which is very energy smart. The heat pump provides air conditioning at an effective rate. It simply pumps the heat energy outdoors. For the heating effect, that heat energy is pumped inside. The air is from the outside so it is cleaner and fresh. There is no burning of fossil fuels. It is a green system that doesn’t release emissions. It also is very effective in how it works and quickly lowers the energy bills. The only snag is that this system can’t effectively heat if the temperatures drop below forty degrees. Since a winter season in Missouri certainly does at night, that is why I have the gas furnace paired with it. The system automatically changes from electric to gas based on the temperature. It keeps the house nice and toasty without me lifting a finger. I mostly experience energy efficient settings, just on colder days the gas portion fires on and keeps my family warm. It is a perfect device for Springfield living.

Hydronic heating is perfect for South Bend

South Bend, Indiana gets cold for most of the year.

That is why I prioritize my heating equipment.

I made sure to get myself a high quality heating system and I treat it right. I have a boiler system in my basement and piping is hooked up to it. The piping is then installed within my floorboards. There is hot water that is heated by the boiler and then it flows through the pipes. The pipes are in all my floors in the entire house. So my whole home is heated through hydronic heating. It is quite amazing. I love having a hydronic heater in South Bend. Most of the year I need to rely on my heating system. With the heat at my lower level, it doesn’t rise to get wasted at the ceiling. Due to this, I can set the thermostat a bit lower. I feel warmer as a result and anything that touches the flooring feels warm. It is like having a heated couch, bed, and recliner. Other pros include a cleaner version of providing heat. Since it is water based, there is no dust, debris, and polluted indoor air quality. There is no burning of fossil fuels so it is a greener option as well. I love that it is silent in operation. Too many times clicking on and off of a HVAC unit wakes a family up. With my South Bend hydronic heater, I don’t notice a thing. I just get to experience gentle heating for most of the year. Once the cold is done, I call my local Indiana heating business to inspect everything to ensure my system is good to go for another year.

Prioritizing AC service in Tuscaloosa

In Tuscaloosa, Alabama you need to prioritize your AC and cooling equipment. My cooling system regularly gets service in the springtime. This is to ensure the AC keeps going strong the entire Alabama season without having issues. The worst thing would be to have an unexpected breakdown in the middle of the hot season. So I get it cleaned, lubricated, and tightened and have all parts checked. Another portion of the cooling upkeep is ductwork cleaning. After a bunch of use the dust, dirt, and hair crop up in the ducts. If you have pets it is even worse. For those with asthma or seasonal Tuscaloosa allergies, getting regular ductwork cleaning is a must have. I have the HVAC technician in Tuscaloosa, AL constantly give me ducts a look. I want to ensure there is no dirt, popped seams, cracks, or anything else blocking production. With proactive care and love, my AC system goes without a hitch. I never seem to have a cooling repair. I also experience lower than usual cooling bills because the system is fully cleaned and optimized. I like that I have peace of mind too. There is no end to the benefits of AC service in Tuscaloosa, AL. I am thankful my local business offers seasonal service for a low price. They also call me every year so I don’t need to remember. It just takes one thing off the list of things to do. It also calms me down and keeps me cold for the hot season.
