I am so excited because I finally got tickets for Disney on Ice for my 4-year-old daughter London.
She has been obsessed with Disney on Ice ever since she knew that it was in Lowell MI.
Then she also saw a video of the performance online. I waited for her to be old enough to truly pay attention and enjoy the experience. The show is at the Ford Center which is in the middle of downtown Lowell MI. It’s a great indoor venue that hosts concerts, sports, wrestling, and so much more. The show happens in the Winter, where the weather is cold outside. But since the venue is indoor, it will have climate control. They have a great energy efficient heating and cooling system installed in the building. The highly efficient HVAC system uses refrigerants that have low levels of ozone depletion. Besides having a great highly efficient HVAC system, the stadium also has other incredible green initiatives in place. The stadium is equipped with low-emitting materials and finishes that create the most optimal indoor air quality. After the pandemic, indoor air quality became a concern for me. So, I am glad that besides installing a highly efficient HVAC system, the stadium is also concerned about the well-being of the people who visit for different events. When I take London to the show, I will be comforted knowing that we will be inside a climate controlled environment that also has great indoor air quality. The show is in a few weeks, but I haven’t told London that we are going yet. It will be part of her birthday surprise that I give to her after we have her party this weekend.
