On my days off, I take the kids to the park

My husband and I moved our family to New Mexico a couple of years ago.

We were both offered a promotion if we chose to go to Albuquerque to help set up the new business branch.

The two of us knew it would be a year or two before we could move back home, but we were curious to check out New Mexico. The fact that New Mexico has legal cannabis didn’t hurt either. My wife and I have used cannabis for many years. With legal recreational marijuana, we knew the price would be lower than other areas. Albuquerque is filled with fun activities that are free for the family. Whenever we have a day off, we take the kids to visit the free attractions in Albuquerque. One of my favorite places to go is Tingley Beach. Tingley Beach has Wildlife, hiking, fishing, and a lot of picnic areas. Everything is open to the public And it is absolutely free to visit. Another free place that my family and I like to visit is the Petroglyph National Monument. Although parking is a dollar or two, it is free to hike the trails and see the twenty thousand or more petroglyphs. Another place that I absolutely love is Tiguex Park. The park has two beautiful walking loops and they are accessible to wheelchairs. One of my daughters is in a wheelchair and it can be difficult to find places that are accessible. There are grass fields, play areas, basketball courts, and outdoor playsets for the children. It’s a really nice place to spend the afternoon and have a picnic lunch.
